The Message Board asks for your email address, and this worries some people.

Don't worry. I hate spam. I won't mis-use your email address if you provide a valid one. If you don't want anyone but Administrators to see it, change the setting in your Profile that keeps it hidden.

You still have the option of receiving mail sent through the Private Message feature. The sender will not see your address - unless and until, of course, you reply to them by email. So long as you both use Private Messages, your addresses are hidden. If someone abuses the Private Message feature, I can make it unavailable for them individually. Please report such abuse. You can opt out of receiving all such messages at any time.

One other option allows you to receive special notices from Administrators and Moderators. I've only used this a couple of times. It's unlikely that I will ever use it again.

Finally, there is the issue of "cookies." The message board cannot work properly without them. They don't do anything bad. They only remember who you are as you post messages or edit your profile.

If you have your security settings such that cookies are prevented you will not be able to log in. This is a special problem in cases where the cam site displays the message board from within frames. The fix is simple, safe and permanent - You can simply write in a security exception for GayCams.
